April was a special month, & firstly off to Singapore with TBNH’s to play at The Sing Jazz Festival. An array of mighty artists, Ms Lauryn Hill, Lalah Hathaway, Incognito feat Omar and Leee John, Estelle, Jamie Cullen and Soul II Soul were amongst the line up.
Lauryn and Layla were just phenomenal and were accompanied by a fantastic group of musicians, A real tasty flavour! Leee John and Omar lit up the stage with their stellar performances backed by the one and only Incognito.
This festival is definitely on the map for being the one to go to! Staying at Marina Bay Sands was pretty cool too, the festival resides there.
Then onto Tokyo Japan, and this has to be my favourite place to play.
We played two shows per night for three nights, and each one had its special moments, and that beef in-between shows 'wow' :P.
I love Japan a lot and all its wonders, I have met some great people the times i have been there and now they are good friends.It was my third time there, & the audiences are always amazing and ready to party, the staff and the city are simply wonderful! so welcoming and warm and vibrant.
The next stop is Brindisi in Italy with Van Gelder Fleming, we haven’t played live together for a couple of years and was great to play songs from our album and soak in some rays at the same time! we are played at Theodurvs on the 21st Of april.
Brindisi is a very special place for many reasons, one being our first concert together in 2015 after the release of LOVELAND.
